This home is nestled amongst majestic oak trees on a Silicon Valley hillside. It was the Sunset Magazine idea house of 1999, and the homeowners brought us in to transform the interiors of the full home remodel. 

We took an aesthetic approach that balances classic elegance with modern lines. Luxe materials like quartzite, marble, and a mural-like wall covering juxtaposed with a quiet, sophisticated color palette and layers and textures woven throughout give a large extended family an inviting gathering place. Expansive sliding doors and windows and a see-through fireplace give it that quintessential Californian indoor outdoor appeal. The interior design scope included cabinetry, millwork, selecting all finishes and fixtures, furnishing and decor, and project administration.
